Briefly: What’ll it be like?
As part of Kill Your Timid Notion, DCA invites you to immerse yourself in this
intense chamber of light and dark. Channels of flickering light are produced in
response to and from sound. The reknowned artist Kjell Bjørgeengen
works collaboratively with innovative musicians to make complex installations. These
meditations hover between everything and nothing, oscillating wildly before your
TV eyes. Works for this major solo exhibition have been developed at the
legendary Experimental Television Center where Kjell has regularly been an
artist in residence since 1982. Supported by The Office for Contemporary Art,
Norway. Kjell will also perform with Keith Rowe and Philipp Wachsmann as part
of this year's highly anticipated festival.
